Asking about a specific competitor

Name the competitor in your question so the agent answers using only their tracked data.

Name the competitor in your question and the agent answers using only the data tracked for them.

  1. Open the agent

Select Agent from the workspace navigation.

  2. Name the competitor in your question

Include the competitor's name directly in what you ask, for example "What changed with Acme this week?" rather than a general question.

  3. Review the answer

The agent answers from that competitor's tracked sources and tells you if it has nothing recent to report.

What happens next

The agent scopes its answer to the named competitor's tracked data only. It does not pull in information about your other tracked competitors unless you ask about them too.

If it does not work

  • Check the competitor's name is spelled the way it appears in your workspace. A misspelled or unrecognised name gets treated as an unknown competitor.
  • Check the competitor is actually being tracked in your workspace. See Adding a competitor if it is not.
  • If the agent says it does not know despite the competitor being tracked, see Why the agent said it does not know.
