How credits work

Credits meter the actions you trigger yourself. Scheduled runs never use them.

Credits are how Vyera meters work you request directly. Your current balance, and the cost of an action, are shown in the app before you run it.

What uses credits

Manual actions use credits. That means anything you trigger yourself rather than something Vyera does on a schedule, such as re-running a source on demand.

Some features show their own usage counter, such as Pitch Scorer. Those counters draw on the same credit pool rather than a separate allowance, so using one reduces what you have available everywhere else.

What does not use credits

Scheduled runs never consume credits. Your competitors keep being tracked on your plan's normal schedule whether or not you have credits available.

Reading anything already generated, your integrations, and your weekly briefing also do not consume credits.

Your allowance

Your plan includes a credit allowance, shown in your billing settings.

The allowance period runs from the date you subscribed rather than the calendar month. If you subscribed on the 14th, your credits reset on the 14th of each following month.

Plan credits do not roll over. Unused credits do not carry into the next period.

Top-up credits

If you need more before your next reset, you can buy additional credits.

Top-up credits behave differently from plan credits. They do not reset at the end of a period and stay available until used, but they expire when your subscription ends.

Notes

Credits have no cash value and are not refundable. The credit cost of an action may change, and the current cost is always shown in the Service before you run it.

What it does not do

Credits do not unlock features that are not on your plan. Buying top-up credits gives you more of what your plan already does, not access to a higher one.

The free plan does not include credits at all. See What is included on the free plan.
