What "bot blocked" means
A source shows bot blocked when the competitor's site prevents automated access, so Vyera cannot read it.
Some sites block automated access, so when this happens to one of your sources, Vyera shows its status as bot blocked rather than pretending the run succeeded.
Why it happens
Many sites use automated checks to keep out traffic that is not a real visitor. Vyera identifies itself honestly rather than trying to disguise its requests, so a site that blocks this kind of traffic will block Vyera along with it. This is a decision made on the competitor's side, not a fault in your workspace.
What it looks like
A blocked source shows its status clearly rather than silently failing, so you can tell the difference between a page that has not changed and one Vyera simply could not check. The data from before the block remains in your workspace and is not affected.
What it does not do
A bot blocked status does not mean your workspace or plan is at fault, and it does not mean the competitor has necessarily done anything unusual. Plenty of sites block automated access as standard practice.
It also does not mean Vyera will keep retrying indefinitely without telling you. The source stays visibly blocked until something changes, either on the competitor's side or through a manual re-run, rather than failing silently in the background.
If a source stays blocked
Try running it manually after a few days, since some blocks are temporary. If it remains blocked, treat that source as unavailable for now and rely on any other sources you have for that competitor.
