Add your first competitors

Adding a competitor tells Vyera which site to track. By the end of this you will have one or more competitors being tracked in your workspace.

Before you start

You need an existing workspace. If you have not created one yet, see Create your workspace first.

   Open Competitors

   Select Competitors from the workspace navigation.

   Start adding a competitor

   Select Add competitor.

   Enter their website and confirm

   Enter the competitor's website in the Website field, using the domain they trade under rather than a specific page, then select Add competitor again to confirm. Vyera creates a starting source from their homepage automatically.

What happens next

Data does not appear instantly, but it does not take long. Vyera runs the new source within a few minutes of you adding it. A fuller picture builds as more runs complete. If prices or other data still look missing once a run should have finished, see Prices have not updated.

If something goes wrong

• Check the domain is typed correctly and points to the competitor's own site, not a redirect or a search result page.
• Check you are not at your plan's competitor limit. If you are, remove a competitor you no longer track or move to a plan with a higher limit.
• If the competitor still does not appear after confirming, refresh the Competitors list before trying again.
