Disconnecting an integration safely

Disconnecting stops new data immediately, but what you have already collected is not deleted with it.

Disconnecting an integration stops new data immediately, but what you have already collected through it is not deleted with it.

  1. Open Integrations

Select Integrations from the workspace navigation.

  2. Disconnect

Select Disconnect next to the integration and confirm.

What stops immediately versus what is kept

Anything that depends on a live connection, such as new alerts posting to Slack or fresh Search Console data, stops the moment you disconnect. Data already collected while it was connected stays in your workspace for 30 days after disconnection, then is deleted, with backups purged within 90 days; access and refresh tokens are deleted immediately on disconnection. See Data retention periods.

Reconnecting later

If the connection changed on the other end rather than being deliberately disconnected by you, see Reconnecting after a permission change instead of disconnecting and reconnecting from scratch.
