I was charged unexpectedly
Usually a renewal or a prorated charge from a recent plan change, not an error.
Most common cause: your regular renewal
Most unexpected-looking charges are the normal renewal for your plan. Check the date against your billing cycle in Plan and billing.
Other causes, by how often they happen
Note
These are ordered by frequency. Work through them in order rather than jumping to the last one.
- A recent plan change was prorated, adding a smaller adjustment charge. See How proration works.
- A previously failed payment was retried and succeeded. See Failed payments and what happens next.
- The charge is for a different workspace than the one you were checking.
If it still does not make sense
