When a tracked competitor rebrands
Tell Vyera about a rebrand directly, since a changed name or domain otherwise looks like a brand new competitor with no history.
A tracked competitor suddenly looks brand new, with no history, after changing its name or domain.
Most common cause: the rebrand was not reported
Vyera has no way to know a new domain belongs to the same company you were already tracking unless you tell it. Without that, a rebrand looks identical to adding a completely new competitor.
What to do
Send the old domain, the new domain or name, and roughly when the change happened, using the request option below, so the team can connect the history rather than leaving it split across two entries.
If none of this fixes it
If history still looks split after reporting a rebrand, send both competitor entries using the request option below so it can be checked directly.
