How Vyera decides what counts as a change

Vyera filters out trivial edits like typos and formatting, so what reaches you is a change worth knowing about.

Not everything that differs between two runs counts as a change worth recording. Vyera filters out trivial edits, such as a typo fix or a formatting tweak, from ones actually worth knowing about, such as a pricing or positioning change.

Why this filtering matters

A page can differ between two checks for reasons that have nothing to do with the competitor's business. Treating every difference as a change would bury the changes that actually matter under noise.

What it does not do

This filtering does not mean Vyera judges whether a real change is good or bad news for you, only whether it is worth recording at all. Whether a recorded change is also significant enough to surface in The Read or trigger an alert is a separate question. See What counts as a significant change for that layer.
