What counts as a significant change

Significance is one shared judgement behind The Read, the Action Plan and alerts, and it is specific to your workspace.

Significance is a single, shared judgement that feeds The Read, the Action Plan and alerts. This article is the canonical explanation; the others link back here rather than repeating it.

Why the threshold is specific to your workspace

The bar a change has to clear is not fixed globally. It reflects your industry, which competitors you track, your company profile, and how you have dismissed or acted on similar changes before. A change treated as significant in one workspace can sit below the bar in another, even if the underlying fact is identical.

What it does not do

Significance is not a measure of how good or bad a change is for you, only how worth-surfacing Vyera judges it to be. It also does not change retroactively for a change already shown to you; it applies going forward as your workspace and history evolve.
