Dismissing an action and what it teaches Vyera

The reason you give when dismissing an action changes how much it affects future prioritisation.

The reason you give when dismissing an action changes how much it affects future prioritisation.

What different reasons teach

"Already done" barely changes anything, since your tracked data simply catches up to reality on its next run. "Not relevant to us" lowers the priority of similar actions going forward. "Not now" is the mildest option, and an action dismissed this way can resurface later if the evidence behind it strengthens.

What it does not do

Dismissing an action does not suppress the underlying tracked change itself, only the suggestion to act on it. The change still exists in your data and can still surface elsewhere, such as in The Read.

Ignoring an action, rather than dismissing it with a reason, does not teach Vyera anything. It just accumulates as clutter in your outstanding list.
