A keyword is not tracked

Check the term's real search demand first, since low measured demand is the most common reason a keyword is not tracked.

A term you expected to see tracked is missing from Findability.

Most common cause: measured demand is too low to matter

Insider or internal jargon often has near-zero real search volume outside your own team. Check for the phrasing people actually search for, which can differ from the term you use internally, before assuming anything is broken.

Other causes, by how often they happen

  • The term does not match your company profile closely enough to be selected. See How keywords are chosen.
  • The term is genuinely too new for demand data to have caught up with it yet.
  • Demand for the term recently collapsed and it fell out of tracking, though its history is retained.

If none of this fixes it

Send the exact term and why you expected it tracked using the request option below.
