What Positioning Intelligence measures
Positioning Intelligence measures how competitors describe themselves publicly, not how good they actually are.
Positioning Intelligence measures how competitors describe themselves publicly, not how good they actually are.
What it draws on
It reads the pages a company uses to position itself publicly, such as its homepage and marketing pages, and extracts the claims made there.
What it does not do
Positioning Intelligence does not measure market share, revenue, or customer satisfaction. It measures claimed positioning only, which is a statement about messaging, not performance.
It does not judge whether a competitor's claimed position is deserved either. A company can claim a strong position without the underlying business supporting it, and this module has no way to tell the difference. See Reading your positioning view for how to read what it does show.
